Biomedical soft robotic device for lower-limb rehabilitation
Design of a biomedical soft robotic device for lower-limb mechanical muscle rehabilitation and electrochemical monitoring under reduced-gravity space environments.

Problem
Prolonged exposure to reduced gravity drives musculoskeletal deconditioning, and existing countermeasures are poorly suited to the constraints of space environments.
Approach
Integrated biomechanics, soft robotics, sensor development, and space physiology to design a device combining mechanical muscle rehabilitation with electrochemical monitoring.
Result
Produced a thesis awarded a Public Commendation for excellence, and contributed to peer-reviewed publications on wearable soft robotic systems for lower-limb stimulation.
